Quite an impressive list, would you not agree?Well, these and other noted blood lines are present and waiting for you to take advantage of here on Walnut Knoll Farm.Yes, we have herdsires and junior herdsires that are living, breathing, sons and grandsons of these magnificent breeders.Isn’t it nice to know that you do not have to travel all over this great nation of ours to tap into the best blood lines in the alpaca industry? Why do we have such a well rounded gene pool?Well, we have been quietly working to develop one of the premiere breeding farms in the southeastern United States…a farm that will attract visitors from all over the country.Let us introduce you to our breeders and future breeders:
Since we do not want to slight any of our guys, we bring them to you by age:

Because of the removal of Maroon as an “official” color for AOBA, Collaborator was judged under a variety of color determinations…
June 2003 – AOBA National Fleece Show - Being judged as a Dark Brown, Collaborator’s fleece took 3rd place in a large class.
June 2004 – AOBA National Fleece Show – Being judged as a Brown, Collaborator’s fleece took 2nd in a class of seven
November 2005 – The Palmetto Alpaca Classic – Judged as a Brown, fleece awarded a 2nd
January 2005 – The Sunshine State Alpaca Expo – Showing under halter for the first time and as a Black 3 year old, Collaborator was awarded 3rd place
November 2005 – The Palmetto Alpaca Classic – Showing as a Bay Black, CMac competed against a number of 2 year old alpacas and took 1st place in the 2 and older class
December 2006 – The Carolina Classic Alpaca Show – Three of CMac’s sons represented their dad well…earning him 2nd in a highly competitive Get of Sire competition
Narrative
They took this beautiful maroon color off of the Alpaca Color Chart but not away from CMacNo matter what color you call him, CMac is a beauty - He stands tall and the “girls” love him.Sometimes called pretty, sometimes simply called a stud…Ameripaca’s Big Mac has reason to be proud of his son.Collaborator began his show career at a time when most are ending their time in the ring. What was sometimes referred to as the twilight show tour, began as a lark, but ended with “The Man” stepping out!His attention did wander to the fairer sex on more than one occasion; however, when it got down to performing, he was up to the task.CMac is now settled into his life on the farm, adored by all the female alpacas and often used to stir up their passions!
CMac has performed best at his most important task…passing along championship characteristics to his offspring. His sons, WKF Nighthawk and WKF MacGyver’s Mark, are winners in the show ring and in fleece competition.Other “CMac creations” will soon join these two to further validate his job performance.
CMac is open for outside breedings on the grounds of Walnut Knoll Farm.Come give him a look, see his offspring still on the farm, and book a breeding to this fine fella’.

Narrative:
No matter how you cut it, VF Legato is a winner.Beginning with his genes and continuing with the evaluation of his presence and his fiber, Legato has done well from California to South Carolina. When you talk of genetics for alpacas you usually begin with the sire of the offspring. There is no better place to begin than with Accoyo 4Peruvian Legacy 6016; however, let us not forget Legato’s maternal genes…you know it really does take two outstanding alpacas to make something special like Legato. In this case, NWA LTD Angie is the dam and brings Legato Accoyo blood direct from PPeruvian Felix G4562.When you combine these two bloodlines you know to expect excellence…and we have it in VF Legato. The cria that are the result of our breeding efforts with Legato are to kill for and they will be seen in the ring during this coming show season.Legato is having a very representative showing of siring males of excellence and females that will carry his makeup to many other farms.Legato can be viewed at our farm and can be a part of your farm’s genetic legacy if you hurry! We will only be contracting for ten outside breedings to this fella’ each year.We also restrict his breeding activities to the months of December to April.
Breeding Fee:$2,800 (Standard Breeding) Legato's outside breeding schedule will come to an end in late spring and will not pick up again until late November...If you want the best from this guy you probably need to give us a call soon to schedule.

Narrative:
Bronex is just the right combination of perfect conformation, exemplary fleece, and full Peruvian genetics. If you are looking for a link to Peruvian excellence on both sides of the family tree, then you need to examine this guy’s family. His Sire is Magical farm’s My Peruvian Rolex, son of 4Peruvian Ajax 6004 and PPPeruvian Tafeta. On his dam’s side you see that he is the grandson of PPPeruvian Accoyo Mr. President, another of Magical Farm’s foundation herdsires that was sold to A and A Alpacas for $155,000 at the 2002 Breeder’s Choice Auction.
During Bronex’s 2007 shearing, our shearer stopped long enough to exclaim, “Now this is an elite fleece!”We think so as well and the proof is in his crias that now are pronking about in our fields!Come see for yourselves, look at samples of his fleece, and then decide…you will be glad you added his strengths to your herd.

Narrative:
The morning WKF Nighthawk came into this world, a new day for our farm was born as well.He provided evidence that our breeding strategies were paying off in spades!Nighthawk and his buddies (both male and female) are a new wave in our efforts to live up to Walnut Knoll Farm’s slogan, “Emerging Excellence – Georgia Alpacas.”An excellent blending of Chilean, Bolivian, and especially Accoyo Peruvian genetics, which combines Ameripaca’s Big Mac, Snowmass Snow*King, PPPeruvian Accoyo Augusto 6009, and Accoyo 4Peruvian Legacy 6016.This unique blending has led to development of an exceptional junior herdsire, and promises to lead to many more from his creations.
We do not trek all over the face of the earth to prove our alpacas to the world…we believe that the proof is in the pudding, and it is time for Nighthawk to begin his “baking” career. We have plans for this young guy and will let you know when his services are available to outside breeders.Do not worry, we are anxious to share this guy once he is proven…we want to see his crias in the ring making you proud of your breeding decisions!
WKF MacGyver’s Mark was born to carry the banner of his dam and sire…and he will do it well. With PCA Peruvian Microsoft, Accoyo PPeruvian Camilio G4561, Ameripaca’s Big Mac, Woods Edge MacGyver, and NWA, LTD Spike, he has the ammunition to do well. Now he just has to use that ammunition to score with crias of excellence of his own.Only time will tell, but we are holding the clock and we can tell it will be kind to Mark and to his owners…and to you if you chose to introduce him to your girls! We know our “New Zealand team” shearer made a big statement on Mark’s fleece, his extreme attraction to Mark as a sound alpaca, and his wishes that he could take Mark home!Well, you cannot take Mark home either, however, we are willing to share him!
Breeding Fee:$950
WKF Ivory's Ironman
Who would believe that this guy's dad, VF Legato, could be topped? Well Ironman has the genetics and the show record (in the ring and in the fleece room) to prove it!He also has a cria on the ground that will be knocking them dead in the show ring!
Try these Accoyo Genetics on for size...4Peruvian Legacy 6016, PPeruvian Felix G4562, PPPeruvian Don Juan 6005, PPPeruvian Mr. President 6006...fit pretty nicely? Add that to two color championships, one reserve in the fleece room, and numerous blues in the ring against really tuff competition, and you have a darn good choice for the daddy of your next generation alpaca!
